letter from the pastor

Dear Friend:

When the Lord led Cindy and me to start River of Life Christian Fellowship, He also gave me a vision of a church that would be governed solely by the principles and doctrines recorded in God's Word. This church would teach and operate in biblical principles. People would receive instruction in the Word, and could learn how to rise from burnt-out hopes, faulty life-styles, and decrepit faith into the rights, privileges and promises God has for us through Jesus Christ.

In addition, as Pastor and Undershepherd, I have a personal commission from the Lord, the same commission Jesus gave to the Apostle Peter in the twenty-first chapter of the gospel of John: namely, "Feed My Sheep." I alone cannot fulfill all the ramifications of that commission; so, the Holy Spirit has led many people to River of Life Christian Fellowship to assist me.

All of us working together can play an important role in meeting the demands of the Ministry, as well as the spiritual needs of the "sheep" God sends here. We are determined to make excellency of ministry our whole intent and objective in submission to our Heavenly Father, then one day He might say to us, as He said to Jesus, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

The primary purpose of this ministry is to minister the uncompromising Word, and to proclaim the "Good News" of Jesus Christ. We intend to make an impact on our community, state, nation and the world as we go forth to accomplish His will, and establishing His covenant through the demonstrated power of love.

Cindy and I greatly appreciate you, and your consistent financial support, and your ongoing prayers. We love you with the love of the Lord, and stand in agreement with you that, your needs are met spiritually, physically, and financially. May God's richest and best be yours as you continue to seek Him first.

Chris Christovale,
Pastor
