About Chris Christovale Jr.

Pastoral Assistant

Chris Christovale was born in Long Beach, California, in 1975. He is the first of two children born to Pastor Chris and Dr. Cindy Christovale. Raised in both Southern and Northern California, he attended school in these regions and developed a strong interest in baseball, earning recognition for his sports achievements.

Following his high school graduation, Chris attended Chabot College from 1995 to 1997, majoring in Sports Medicine and playing two years of junior college baseball. After completing his studies at Chabot College, he transferred to Eastern Oregon University, where he majored in Liberal Studies with minors in Business Administration and Physical Education. He graduated with a B.S. degree in June 2001.

After graduating from college, Chris embarked on a professional career that spanned various industries. He worked for Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation for 12 years, Hyundai for 5 years, and the tech industry for 3 years.

Chris has also been dedicated to volunteering as a baseball coach. He served as a head coach for the Nansemond Pirates and the KBA Travel Baseball Team. Additionally, he worked as an assistant to a Tampa Bay Devil Rays scout, providing leadership and guidance to team members, helping baseball players excel both in the sport and in life. Currently, he is involved with Judah Baseball Academy and serves as the head baseball coach for Valley Christian School.

At the age of five, Chris accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He was blessed to witness his parents, Pastor Chris and Dr. Cindy, serve great men and women of God such as Apostle Dr. Frederick K. C. Price, Dr. Jim Kaseman, and Brother Hagin. Chris has worked in the ministry of helps for Spirit of Faith Christian Center, Covenant Church, and Faith Christian Center. Since 2013, he has also served as a Pastoral Assistant with River of Life Christian Fellowship, ministering the gospel and assisting in all areas of the ministry.

His vision for the church is to accelerate its growth and fulfill the Great Commission by "Reaching Our Community and the World with the Demonstrated Power of God’s Love." He draws inspiration from Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
